对 Z 世代群体而言，宠物正在成为其情感生活中的重要部分。在与宠物相处的时光中， 人们获得快乐和慰藉，与朋友分享宠物知识与生活也成为了一种社交货币。在“它经济” 盛行的背景下，爬行动物也逐渐吸引更多的年轻人群。其麟（Cleen）是国内规模较大的宠物渠道商宠有家集团旗下的爬宠品牌，业主希望与我们共同探索一种全新的线下爬宠体验与销售模式。有别于花鸟虫鱼市场的消费场景，其麟爬宠旗舰店位于商场之中，试图创造一种贴近顾客体验、体现爬宠特点与生活习性的品牌空间形象与商业模型。

For the Z Generation, pets have become an essential part of their emotional lives. Spending time with pets brings happiness and solace, and sharing knowledge and experiences about pets has become a form of social currency. In the backdrop of the thriving "pet economy," reptiles are gradually attracting a younger people. Cleen, a reptile brand under the PetHome Group, one of the largest pet retail companies in China, aims to explore a new reptile experience-sales model in partnership with the designers. Unlike the traditional pet markets for birds, fish, and insects, Cleen's reptile flagship store is located within a shopping mall, attempting to create a brand image and business model that is closely aligned with customer experiences and reflects the characteristics and habits of reptiles.

设计结合了爬宠的动物特征与“其麟”品牌名称所指“鳞动”这一概念，在空间中置入两片到顶的三维曲面——“其麟墙”，既是模拟爬行动物爬行时候鳞片的动势，也是对自然栖息地微妙地形的指涉。曲面墙体由1140个爬宠箱组成，其中478个箱体居住各类爬宠，构成空间的主要形象，同时结合功能要求划分出不同的区域。吊顶采用了深色镜面不锈钢，反射效果营造出空间的高度与纵深感，将观者引入蜿蜒、奇异的山谷之中，游览其中，有宽有窄、有明有暗、有行进有停留、有游栖有穿越，仿佛置身于爬行动物的自然家园。

The design combines the unique features of reptiles with the concept implied by the name "Cleen" – "scales in motion." In the space, two three-dimensional surfaces, referred to as the "Cleen walls," are installed from floor to ceiling. These walls not only simulate the motion of reptile scales when they crawl but also subtly allude to the intricate shapes of their natural habitats. The curved walls are composed of 1140 reptile enclosures, with 478 of these enclosures housing various types of reptiles. This forms the primary visual identity of the space while also dividing the space into different areas based on functional requirements. The ceiling uses dark mirrored stainless steel, creating reflective effects to enhance the height and depth of the space, immersing viewers in a winding, surreal valley to explore. There are wide and narrow sections, bright and dim areas, places to move and pause, and spots to observe and cross through, making visitors feel as though they are in the natural habitat of reptiles.

在设计前期，我们对爬宠进行了长时间的跟踪观察与分析，认为区别于猫、狗，或者兔子、仓鼠这些常见宠物的互动式展示方法，蜥蜴、守宫和蛇等爬宠的展示方法应该为“聚焦”的模式，所以我们学习了博物馆展示方式来构建整体的光环境。幽暗的整体氛围和每个爬宠箱内聚焦的灯光可以让人们更容易观察到每只动物的特点与性格。

In the initial design phase, we conducted extensive and continuous observations and analysis of reptiles. Recognizing that the interactive display methods for reptiles such as lizards, geckos, and snakes differ from those for common pets like cats, dogs, rabbits, and hamsters, we adopted a "focused" approach, inspired by museum display methods, to create the overall lighting environment. The dim overall ambiance and focused lighting within each reptile enclosure make it easier for people to observe the characteristics and personalities of each animal.

项目最大的挑战来自于在曲面展示墙体上构建一套爬宠生命系统。除了爬宠需要的光照外，还需要为其考虑一套加热系统，并符合工作人员日常维护的尺度。过程中我们不断与灯光顾问、宠物专家、电气工程师、设备供应商和运营方沟通协调，调试到最佳状态，将所有的“生命基础设施”隐藏于展示墙的构造中，同时使观者在欣赏爬宠时不会被多余因素干扰。

The most significant challenge in the project came from establishing a reptile life system on the curved display walls. Apart from providing the necessary lighting for the reptiles, a heating system had to be considered, along with the scale required for daily maintenance by the staff. Throughout the process, we maintained continuous communication and coordination with lighting consultants, pet experts, electrical engineers, equipment suppliers, and the operational team. This allowed us to fine-tune the system to its optimum state, concealing all "life support infrastructure" within the structure of the display walls, ensuring that viewers are not distracted by unnecessary elements while appreciating the reptiles.

在曲面展示墙的设计与建造过程中需要不断调整形体、固定点、固定方式和相关走线的孔位。设计全流程采用用参数化工具（GH）推进，以应对动态变化的形体、结构和节点等复杂系统带来的问题。在结构设计上，通过对两片展示墙的形态优化使爬宠箱之间形成相互拉结的关系，做到不依赖悬吊，保证在扭曲关系的前提下实现构造自承重。

During the design and construction of the curved display walls, there was a constant need to adjust shapes, anchor points, fastening methods, and openings for related wiring. The entire design process was driven by parametric tools (GH) to address the challenges posed by dynamic changes in shapes, structures, and nodes within a complex system. In terms of structural design, we optimized the forms of the two display walls, allowing the reptile enclosures to interconnect without relying on suspension, ensuring self-supporting structures under twisting conditions.

在材料的选择上，“其麟墙”爬宠箱使用外部黑色金属与内部幻彩板的组合方式，幻彩不锈钢的色彩变化恰如爬行动物表皮“结构色”的丰富多彩，并加强了每个重复构件之间的微妙差异。其他墙面和地面材料使用火山岩与水磨石，创造自然环境的质感与肌理。项目使用了大量的板材，设计师在考量了产品尺寸、经济性和美学因素后确定了一套平面300mm、900mm、1800mm/立面360mm的模数系统——天花、地面、墙体，以及相关产品、灯光、空调、消防系统都精确地控制在此模数系统中。

Regarding material selection, the "Cleen walls" of the reptile enclosures used a combination of external black metal and internal iridescent panels. The iridescent stainless steel's color changes mirror the rich and colorful hues found on reptile skin, enhancing the subtle differences between each repeated component. Other wall and flooring materials include volcanic rock and terrazzo, creating textures and patterns reminiscent of a natural environment. The project extensively used panels, and after considering product dimensions, cost-effectiveness, and aesthetic factors, the designers settled on a modular system with dimensions of 300mm, 900mm, and 1800mm for flat elements and 360mm for vertical elements. This system extended to ceilings, floors, walls, as well as related products, lighting, air conditioning, and fire protection systems, all precisely controlled within this modular system.

也许因为爬行动物这一异宠品类，其麟爬宠旗舰店在试营业期间已经迅速成为其所在商圈的著名“打卡点”和“目的地”。爬宠店位于商场的四楼，持续的引流改变了商场的热力图，极大程度上改变了以往商场高层冷清的状况。如何制造潮流、吸引年轻化的客群可能是Z时代品牌需要思考的商业议题，而对于设计师，创造空间的新内容与新体验在当下的语境中即是一种知识探索的过程，并最终指向品牌空间的价值观。

Perhaps due to the unconventional nature of reptiles as pets, Cleen's reptile flagship store quickly became a well-known "check-in spot" and "destination" in its local commercial district during its trial operation. The reptile store is located on the fourth floor of the mall, and its continuous attraction significantly changed the mall's traffic patterns, greatly improving the previously desolate high-level areas of the mall. How to create trends and attract a younger customer base may be a commercial topic that brands in the Z era need to consider. For designers, creating new content and experiences in spaces is a process of knowledge exploration in the current context, ultimately pointing to the values of the brand space.
