　　The hotel’s interior design is deeply influenced by its unique location 3,650 metres above sea level andTibet’s rich culture, spirituality and material heritage. Unlike the group’s other properties stamped with its signature elegant grandeur, the Shangri-La Lhasa is designed to a more human and personal scale while preserving the brand’s exceptional 5-star sanctuary characteristic. All through the public spaces, the use of sheer fabric and wooden screens instills an inviting sense of intimacy and privacy. Elemental motifs from Tibet’s traditional architecture and costumes are liberally reinterpreted – sometimes with a contemporary edge – and applied to the fixtures and furnishings in the hotel.

　　在酒店室内设计上，特别考虑了其海拔3,650米的独特地理位置这一特点，而西藏丰富的文化、宗教与物质遗存也深深地影响了室内设计的风格。有别于香格里拉酒店一贯的恢弘大气，香格里拉拉萨酒店在保留其品牌独特的五星级品质的同时，在设计上也更适合人体与个人的尺度。公共区域始终贯穿着薄纱与木屏风的元素，营造出宜人的私密感与隐私性。来源于藏族传统建筑和服饰上的纹样元素在这里得到了新的诠释 — 或与当代风格的饰边相融合 —运用在酒店的家具及固定装饰上。

　　Guests entering the lobby at level 3 are greeted by a fabric screen bearing a circle of intricate bronze wire, and delicately weighted by traditional bronze bells. Beyond, a 6.5 metre bell-shaped chandelier – beautifully crafted from 61,000 pieces of crystal and concentrically draped in vivid redfabric – takes centrestage. Reminiscent of a Tibetan prayer wheel, the chandelier anchors the lobby space and imparts a quiet sense of awe. Throughout the welcoming spaces, the palette of earthy tones juxtaposed with bold turquoises and reds, takes cues from thangkas(Tibetan paintings).

　　客人进入三层大堂，首先映入眼帘的是一面布艺屏风，采用繁复的铜丝制成的圆盘装饰，并巧妙地以传统的铜铃作为配重。渐进而入，一盏6.5米高的钟型花灯占据大堂中央——花灯由61,000片水晶手工打造，周边由红色帷幔呈同心型态围合。花灯的形态使人不由联想起西藏的转经筒，奠定了大堂空间的沉静而神圣的氛围。设计配色以大地色系为基调，配合提取于唐卡中的亮丽的绿松石色和红色，贯穿了整个迎宾空间。

　　At the hotel’s signature restaurant, Shang Palace, guests are treated to delectable Sichuan and Cantonese cuisines. The corridor is lined with six illuminated Tibetan drums with diameters of 1.5 metres. In the main dining area, decorative floor-to-ceiling screens add intimacy to the contemporary chic ambience.

　　酒店的特色餐厅“香宫”以精致可口的川菜及粤菜款待宾客。六面直径1.5米的藏式圆鼓由暖光射灯照亮，一路迎客人进入餐厅。主餐区特别设置的由天花至地面的通高装饰屏风，为雅致时尚的空间氛围更增添些许私密性。

　　The hotel’s262 spacious guestrooms and 17 suites are exquisitely appointed and furnished, offering breathtaking views of the mountains or Potala Palace. Creating a strong sense of place and sublime comfort, the room designs and furnishings are distinctly Tibetan with every luxurious detail carefully thought out.

　　酒店有262间的宽敞舒适、精心布置的客房及17间套房，将布达拉宫与摄人心魄的山景尽收眼底。客房设计及软装布置上更有着独特的西藏风格，在各个细节上缜密推敲，精雕细琢，营造出具有强烈地方感而又尊贵舒适的体验。

　　The Design Award-winning  spa and pool are subtly infused with Tibetan elements: wood screens and cabinets with local motifs, bespoke bronze handles and light fixtures crafted by local artisans. Warm earth tones dominate the colour palette. At Chi Spa, guests can acclimatise at a one-of-its-kind Oxygen Lounge or bliss out with a relaxing treatment overlooking Lhasa’s dynamic landscape. Plush pillows with hand-embroidered Tibetan symbols add a special homey touch to the space. The 25-metre indoor pool design takes reference from the natural surroundings – from snowcapped mountains and glaciers to crystal clear waterscapes. In fact, the pool’s water originates from these very mountains and lakes, cascading from giant bronze containers directly into the indoor pool for the pure enjoyment of the hotel’s guests.

　　巧妙融合藏地元素的水疗及泳池荣获了设计大奖：木屏风和柜橱装饰有当地特色的纹样图案，古铜把手和灯具均由当地手工艺人打造。整体配色以暖调的大地色为主。在Chi水疗中心，宾客可在独一无二的氧吧来更好地适应当地环境，亦可边俯瞰拉萨壮丽的景色边享受放松身心的理疗。藏式图案被一针一线地手工绣到长绒枕上，每一处细节都充盈着家的温馨。从冰雪覆盖的山峰到晶莹剔透的冰川河流 –大自然的神奇不仅激发了设计师的灵感，更孕育了这座25米的室内泳池-饱含着山川湖泊之精粹的雪水，共同汇入巨大的青铜容器中，倾流而下注入泳池，为宾客带来至高无上的纯净洗礼。
