     Tongzhou is a city of new development. As the development goes, cultural preservation in the area is critical. Dagao and Sunzhuang were existing art communities that locates within Tongzhou, however, further development of the city is made, larger community would be necessary. Our project aims to pulse the city by bringing a similar functionality to the site with several additional installments. Finally, our strategy is to incorporate those devices with farming functionality so that diverse audience in the area will participate the community.

To do so, our project installs 3 devices in the site. 

　　通州区正处于北京城市发展进程中，正因为城市的快速发展，对历史文化的保护显得尤为重要。大稿艺术区与宋庄艺术区等都是通州区现有的艺术区，然而顺应通州区的发展需求，更多的社区交流空间变得尤为重要。我们的项目想要通过对场地的装置性设计以脉动城市、脉动整个通州区。我们的目标是将那些设施与农业的功能进行联通，以吸引区域内多种多样的人们参与到社区交流中。为此，我们在场地区域中设计了三个项目。

Internet + Interaction Design 

Pulse city has not only the Internet community Forum and the Custom services, but also the interaction exhibition, landscape and workplace.

　　脉动之城不仅有线上互动社区与定制服务，还设置有交互式的展览、景观、办公切换功能。

    A North Section 北区: 

    A new enclosure for the north building helps the building to be as a core pulsing hub. It contains: 

　　在北区建筑新加一层幕墙让其作为脉动核心区。它包含：

　　光动--幕墙及室内媒体展厅 / lighting—façade, interior media exhibition

　　绿色--太阳能屋面及屋顶花园 / green—solar roof, roof park

　　满足：日常展览展示、兼具VR观展观影功能的新媒体展厅，屋面花园可设置住宅、办公模块/ VR concept of exhibition viewing capabilities

    B West Section西区: 

    Outside exhibition area holds multiple artworks. Its structure follows traditional amphitheater to allow larger audience can see artwork while creating a large public space.

　　外部的展览空间有多个艺术品。其结构是按照传统的圆形剧场，让更多的观众能看到艺术作品，同时也是一个大型的公共空间

动脉—互动装置魔方 / artery – magic box, Interactive installation

　　由小到大不同尺寸框架搭建，小的长宽高都是0.6米的模块构架，通过交互式滑杆装置连接，可根据使用情况变身不同功能

Frame structures of different sizes from small to large , and the small structures are 0.6 m length and breadth of the module frame, connected through an interactive slider device may  according to the environments.

满足：兼具数字设计工作室、创客中心、工作坊、培训、孵化器等功能

Digital design studio, Creative center, Workshop, Incubator.

    C East Section东区: 

    Hybrid structure that can hold urban artisan and farm community in and outside space configured by flexible components. Depending on the height of structure it can be used as a landscape space as well as vegetation devices.

　  混合结构能承载城市艺术与农田式社区，并且外部空间通过多变性的组件构成。因结构的高度该景观空间就像植物种植的装置。

    “境”脉--艺术体验中心满足：生活美学体验馆（功能设置：日常非正式交流、轻食、咖啡、体验类展陈、小型沙龙）
