After two years from the publication of Dominique Bouchet on Shoutenkenchiku January 2014, a new Dominique Bouchet opened on the second floor of a new building on Ginza 1-Chome.

继两年前多米尼克·布歇餐厅在「商店建筑」杂志发表后，今年伊始，东京多米尼克·布歇餐厅正式在银座壹町木上新盖建筑的二楼开始对外营业。

Simply put, this restaurant is Chef Dominique Bouchet’s private apartment.  Without revealing the entire framework of the restaurant at first glance, the space is segmented in several small spaces like an apartment in Paris enabling the guests to walk through the entrance (reception), study room (chef’s office), living room (waiting lounge), dining room (main dining), and to the private room (chef’s table).  The randomly positioned operable walls within the dining room allows for intimacy whilst acting as a role to discover each small rooms like in an apartment.  The operable walls are fabricated with felt absorbing the sound created from each table to provide the best comfort to the guests.  

其实，餐厅是法国大厨多米尼克·布歇先生的私人公寓。乍一看，室内空间并没有流露出餐厅的整体构架。空间被划分为些许类似于巴黎公寓的小空间，能让客人行走通过入口(接待台)、阅读室(厨师的办公室)、起居室(等候室)、餐厅(主要就餐区)和私人空间(厨师的书房)。餐厅里看似随便摆放的可操纵墙体能满足私密需求，就像是在一间公寓里面的各个小单间。可操纵墙体用吸声毛毡面料包裹，为每一位临近的餐桌提供做舒适的就餐环境。

Another challenge was to create flexibility by providing a private space to adapt to the restaurant’s reservations.  The felt operable wall has been simulated to adhere to any circumstance and the high quality private space created from here will offer additional value to the guests’ time spent with their companions and cuisine.

设计师面临另外一项挑战：在提供一个私密的空间来满足餐厅预订需求的时候，如何打造其灵活性。毛毡可操纵墙体已经设计成能很好地模拟任意情景和满足高质量私人空间需求，给客人以及他们的同伴、菜肴无形中赋予了附加值。

There were various obstacles to overcome here at Dominique Bouchet yet our focus was not to create an aesthetically pleasing space but alternatively to sincerely concentrate on offering a valuable time for the guests dining at this restaurant.  

在多米尼克·布歇餐厅里有如此之多的障碍需要克服，但是我们的关注点并不是要打造一个符合美学的愉悦空间，而是真切而诚恳地关注于为在餐厅就餐的客人留下一段美好的时光。
