全球设计和开发工作室 Banda 公布了其位于伦敦诺丁山伦斯特广场的最新家庭住宅的设计。

Global design and development studio Banda has unveiled the design of its latest family home on Leinster Square in London’s Notting Hill.

设计叙述借鉴了自然世界，展示了新旧艺术作品，辅以朴实的调色板和最纯粹形式的当代舒适。在原始时期的背景下，联排别墅的美学感觉丰富的历史，但同时又现代和新鲜。

The design narrative draws on the natural world showcasing old and new pieces of artistry, complemented by an earthy colour palette and contemporary comfort in its purest forms. Set against the backdrop of original period features the townhouse’s aesthetic feels richly historical but at the same time modern and fresh.

Stepping into the living space your eye is drawn to a large, over two metres high, Aubusson verdure tapestry hanging softly behind bespoke sofas designed by Banda in brown linen. Dating back to the late 17th / early 18th century, the wool and silk tapestry sourced from Brownrigg depicts a tranquil landscape scene with a decorative foliage border in muted greens and whites. The room’s restful mood is enhanced by the simple yet sculptural furniture including a 1960’s Äôs Swedish high back armchair, sourced from The Loods, and the rustic Joseph Berry dark timber coffee table. The earthy tones of  the room are lifted by the natural light which floods into the room, and by evening, the warm glow from the Murano glass chandelier sourced from Milan.

Edo Mapelli Mozzi founder and CEO of Banda says; “We started our design journey and direction with the Aubusson tapestry – it’s depth, texture and story set the tone for the entire home. The landscape with the deep green leaves brings the outside in. This inspiration emanates in every room. The colour palette, sense of calm and elegance creates a true ‘design for living’.

The kitchen has been beautifully conceived and is a seamless blend of past and present design. The intricate cornicing and leaf moulded ceiling rose where hangs a Beetle Chandelier in antique brass from Gallery L7 create a sense of architectural theatre. The modern marble island with its strong brown veining is home to four Charles Dudouyt oak dining chairs, dating back to 1950s and a reupholstered mid-century Scandinavian daybed forms a contemporary window seat. In the dining room, Banda commissioned floral designer and gardener, Kitten Grayson, to create an everlasting floral installation above its custom designed oak dining table and banquette seating. French decorative oak chairs by Guillerme et Chambron reupholstered in a jacquard velvet by Dedar complete the unique design of this space.

Joaquim Tenreiro 设计的红木 Bloch 编辑桌以其简洁的线条和坚固的框架成为焦点。 它属于 Bloch Editores S.A. With its clean lines and solid frame, the rosewood Bloch Editors desk by Joaquim Tenreiro creates a focal point. It belonged to Bloch Editores S.A. Building, a Brazilian publisher founded in 1952 where Tenreiro furnished the interior. The desk is composed of a rectangular box with three aligned drawers, all covered with the stunning tones of Brazilian Rosewood. The Curtis table lamp with brass shade by Paolo Moschino also compliment the tone for this masculine yet serene study. The 19th century French lantern and large antique planter anchors the room with an earthy grandeur. Softness is added through the custom designed large sheepskin chair and ottoman by By Lydia and the linen fabric used for the cafe style curtains and desk chair by Milan’s Dimoremilano.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is designed to offer serenity and calm. The sweeping line of the bespoke headboard upholstered in Watts of Westminster Cumulus, the linen bedcovers by Audrey Johns and the chalky colour palette enhance the ambience. A wrought iron stool in a boucle fabric sits at the end of the bed. Other features include a beautiful sculptural piece in silk made by Ursula Nistrup and Lotte Henriksen, a dressing table from Atelier 278, and chairs by Oliver Gustav and Anne Jacquemin Sablon.

The other bedrooms are equally tranquil with bespoke wave headboards and oak flutter bedside tables. A child’s bedroom includes a charming bed canopy in Alice Palmer’s embroidered lemon fabric with matching lemon box pleat lampshade.

The lower ground floor has been designed for entertaining in mind. In one corner there is a three-seater modular sofa with ottoman covered in a boucle fabric and a bespoke marble table adds a statement focal point. There’s also a custom designed bar and round travertine nested table ideal for after-dinner drinks. In keeping with Banda’s ethos of designing for wellbeing there is also a gym on the lower ground floor flooded with light and natural materials such as timber, linens and leather.
