Brooklyn-based real estate development firm Tankhouse today announced the official launch of sales for Nine Chapel, a freestanding tower offering 27 luxury condominium homes prioritizing outdoor space in Downtown Brooklyn. Tankhouse has once again joined forces with award-winning architecture and design firm SO-IL following their highly successful property 450 Warren, creating a new architectural landmark redefining urban living with an emphasis on innovative design, creative outdoor spaces, and sustainability. Wrapped in an undulating, shimmering folded metal façade, the boutique, 14-story building offers 27 homes ranging from one- to four-bedrooms. Each residence is granted the benefits of a corner unit, including at least two exposures, oversized picture windows and dedicated outdoor space. Unlike any other new condo development currently on the market in New York City, Nine Chapel invites residents home through covered, open-air breezeways reminiscent of front porches. These remarkably distinctive and innovative breezeways illustrate Nine Chapel’s embrace of dedicated, useful outdoor space, which is also present in the homes through a clever variety of uncovered private terraces, and loggias that function as year-round outdoor rooms.

Primary baths are adorned with custom precast concrete floors, sinks and vanities, and dark green glass mosaic tiles in the showers. Crafted with sustainability in mind, homes also feature insulated windows and glass doors designed to reduce energy consumption and energy-efficient electric appliances and cooktops.
