"Working with 111 West 57th Street to design Residence 66 was an absolute pleasure and the home offers a rare opportunity to live in the second tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere and provides spectacular views. We liked the idea of leaning into this idea of adding an almost acid color palette, with some of the greens extending the park's form and presence into the home itself, whilst still speaking to the project's sophistication," said Rafael de Cárdenas, founder of Rafael de Cárdenas, Ltd.

111 West 57th Street features a total of 60 residences, 14 in the landmarked Steinway Hall building and 46 full-floor and duplex residences within the 91-story tower, which has redefined the Manhattan skyline with its bold yet slender silhouette. Originally crafted in 1925 by Warren & Wetmore, the famed architecture firm behind New York landmarks such as Grand Central Terminal, Steinway Hall has been comprehensively reimagined to create gracious, light-filled residences and refined amenity spaces that honor the spirit of the original design. As part of the development, the neoclassical building’s ornate historic rotunda and Indiana limestone façade were painstakingly restored in collaboration with the Landmarks Preservation Commission of New York.
