Gabellini Sheppard 受委托设计 David Yurman 纽约旗舰店,以庆祝 Yurman 从艺术到珠宝的独特传统。 这个庞大的旗舰店标志着该品牌在最近任命的首席创意官 Evan Yurman 的领导下的发展。

Gabellini Sheppard was commissioned to design the David Yurman New York flagship, celebrating the house of Yurman’s unique heritage from art to jewelry. This expansive flagship marks the brand’s evolution under the leadership of recently appointed Chief Creative Officer, Evan Yurman.

The interior emulates the brand’s values of elevated craftsmanship, design innovation, and natural materials with a distinctly modern Americn voice. This creates a high-concept jewelry emporium of warmth, comfort, and visual splendor.

店面面积超过5000平方英尺,旨在展示最新的女装、男装、婚礼和高级珠宝系列,以及当地独有的限量版设计。室内色调温暖的设计调色板,迷宫般的大理石地板和盘旋的木质天花板,以及卓越的细节与展出的收藏品的奢华和卓越品质相协调。

Spanning more than 5,000 square feet, the store was designed to showcase the latest women’s, men’s, wedding and high jewelry collections as well as limited-edition designs exclusive to this location. The interior’s tonally warm design palette and maze-like marble floors and hovering wood ceiling panels along with sublime detailing plays in harmony with the luxury and exceptional quality of the collections on display.

旗舰店位于曼哈顿首屈一指的零售走廊,位于第 57 街和第五大道,其高耸的立面采用标志性的玫瑰金十字架,带有凹槽的花岗岩和石灰石舞台框架标志着从动画街景进入 David Yurman 迷人而宁静的世界的门槛。戏剧性的入口通向一个高耸的三层高的中庭,那里的地板像一个大型私密剧院的夹层一样逐渐后退。

Situated on Manhattan’s premier retail corridor at 57th Street and Fifth Avenue, the flagship’s soaring façade features an iconic rose-gold cross with a fluted granite and limestone proscenium frame marking the threshold from the animated street scene into the mesmerizing and tranquil world of David Yurman. The dramatic entrance opens to a soaring triple height atrium where floors gradually step back like the mezzanines of a large and intimate theatre.

The atrium frames the sequence from outside to inside and from floor to floor, creating an elevated shopping experience that unfolds in a subtle and expansive way. New space and collections are revealed sequetially with finishes that transform from light to dark, warm to cool, and smooth to rough. The result of this spatial focus on movement, materials, and light is an intimately personal boutique experience in a grand flagship setting.

Transformation and innovation are key to the store’s ultimate appearance and performance. Floating upholstered wall panels and combed plaster screens provide soft backdrops to highlight each collection. Designed with the future in mind, these elements can change and evolve in finish and material to support new product and marketing needs of this dynamic brand. This transformative nature inhabits the whole of the design. Curving wood and stone display fixtures are equally flexible with the ability to move freely as new fixtures are conceived for seasonal collection campaigns.

The striking use of marble and granite display fixtures adds textural warmth to the collections on display. Wall mounted illuminated display cases are used to create feature moments in each area while the careful integration of LED display screens provides an opportunity for the seasonal David Yurman collection campaigns to be featured throughout the store.
