There is a poem in ancient China, which describes the situation escaping from disappointment  to a quiet and graceful space. We want to achieve this effect in the project. 

The task in this project is to transform office environment in the high-level business building. Our clients hope to have a place to relax and enjoy the nature feeling in the nervous and stressful working environment. Designers changed the serious working atmosphere,  created a pure shared communication space in the premise of fundamental office function of clients. And use natural but elegant materials, building a quiet and warm space. We put the nature indoor and made the new inner space open and full of living features.

此项目是将高层商务楼内的一处办公空间进行改造。客户希望在紧张的工作环境中有一处能放松心情的区域，享受来自大自然的气息。设计师一改严肃的办公氛围，在满足客户办公功能使用的前提下，创造出一个纯净的共享交流空间，用自然淡雅的材料营造出安静而温暖的氛围。并将自然搬进室内，使得新的内部空间开放且富于生机。

Designers use the white, wood, plants, and the effects of lights and shadows to complete the definition of multiple spaces, meeting different requirements of functions and psychology to its maximum. For the design language, we use the simple materials to build a rich and chic office space. The wood in big areas conveys intimate feeling, and form a rich textures and levels with the white walls. At the same time, the coffee table and relaxing sitting area as a transition space, made the working environment more comfortable with appropriate plants. We want to highlight corporate culture, and respect persons and encourage interactions and communications. To the interior, designers aims to put a quiet working garden into a original structure based on little change to the general structure. Make dialogues and interspersions between indoor and outdoor, creating a new boundary form.

设计师运用白、木、植物以及光影的效果来完成多重区域的定义，最大限度地满足各种不同功能需求与心理需求。在设计语言中，采用了简单的材料，营造丰富、别致的办公空间。大面积的木头传达出亲近感，与白色调的墙面形成丰富的肌理层次，同时茶几及休闲座椅区作为过渡空间，加入适当的植物使得办公环境更加轻松，提升空间的舒适感。突出企业文化，同时尊重个人、鼓励互动与沟通。于内部而言，设计师在不改变大体结构的基础上将一个幽静的工作花园置入原始结构中，使室内外互相穿插对话，创造出一种新的界限形式。

Culture spirit is a company’s motivation for all. We need to consider from the users of office—people, to design a place full of connotation for working. So,  designers made an interview form about 15 users of this office.Most of them mentioned that the traditional working place is too repressed, serious, and nervous, and a tense working conditions in whole day.So employers are eager to have a true, open and sharing working place, which takes more than 1/3 time of the day.They can not only stay in their office, but also use various space alternatively when work. Make their communications more freedom and creative to have mind collision.

任何公司的文化精神是它的驱动力，为了设计充满内涵的办公场所，我们需要从办公的使用者——人来洞察感知，为此，设计师采访了约15名此办公空间的使用者，大多数使用者提到传统办公环境太压抑，严肃且紧张，一整天工作的状态都是紧绷的。员工渴望属于他们的办公场所是本真的，作为超过一天中1/3时间的场所，应当变得更加开放，共享和交流。员工除了固定的办公位，也可以在公司的不同空间有选择性的进行办公，可以自由交流，发挥创意，进行思维碰撞。

Traditional working space usually lack of public area and multiple space, with a single and boring moving line. The new office is becoming more and more interesting step by step, and people’s movements are staggered and compound. So here comes more behaviours and inspirations. The way of working also become changeable from fixed form, emphasis cooperations instead of  single concentration, diversified from unitized.

传统的办公空间通常公共空间不足，多元空间稀缺，动线单一乏味。而新的办公场所正逐步变得多元有趣，人们的动线交错复合，从而产生了更多的行为和灵感的碰撞。工作的方式也从定点向游走，由专注向合作，由单元到多元而改变。

office is a semi-public and semi-private space in traditional way. But now, a curved and winding shape enriches the interesting experience and fun of space. Work and life,  they should be closely interdependent and mutually fused.

在传统办公中，办公区域是一种半内半外的空间形式，而现在，迂回婉转、错落有致的形式大大丰富了空间的趣味性和体验性。工作和生活，本应紧密依存、相辅相成。
