2016年7月屋木德建筑设计咨询北京有限公司完成了刀小蛮北京当代商城店的设计工作，开业之初业主方市场部有电话来问关于本店的设计理念和想法是什么，接电话时无从说起，只回了句看电影看的。

we finalized design work for Dao xiaoman restaurant of Beijing Modern Plazt in July 2016. At the beginning of business, I received a call from client’s marketing department as for the design idea. I can’t describe our idea when I picked up the phone, I just said all the inspirations were from a movie.

　　当时的确有借鉴了正在放映的侯孝贤导演的一部电影《聂隐娘》，初始是由刀小蛮三个毛笔字的笔势和观感来发想：刀小蛮应该是位女侠客 2）不娇柔，不是仙，有杂念  3）民间美食。于是我们在98平方米的餐饮中面积里完成了前期的这些臆想。

 We indeed used for reference  of movie “The Assissan” directed by Hsien Hou.The initial idea was from Xiao Man's three calligraphy styles and impressions.First, Dao Xiaoman should be swordswoman .Second, Dao Xiaoman is not tender, as well she usually gets distracting thoughts in mind.Third, it is easily made food when you want just take ,it is from folk , cheap and deliciou.

　　在49平方米的餐区面积里设计了62个餐位。我们用酒店式的施工制图标准和多张手绘立体详图诠释了这家不足百平米的小店。在同业主方充分的沟通和信任下，共同完成了本店的整体设计工作。本店之前业主方亦找过多家境外知名设计单位进行设计定位，且均已实现营业。

So we completed previous idea in 98 square meters catering area, 62 dining Spaces were designed in 49 square meter dining square.We demonstrated this nearly 100 square meters space with hotel's construction standard and a couple of hand-drawn stereoscopic drawings. After sufficient communication with client, we completed overall  design together.Client also searched other overseas famous design studio for brand  design before our business,  all of them worked well.

　　最终当代商城刀小蛮凭着骄人的经营业绩和独特的设计风格成为业主方的设计风格定稿店。之后两年里全国陆续开了60多家此稿风格的“刀小蛮”。

In the end, Dao Xiaoman Beijing Modern Plazt branch which we designed became client's finalized design owing to its outstanding business performance and unique design style. In the following two years, more than 60 stores "Dao Xiaoman" with the same style  appeared all of China.
