The house is located in the northeast corner of the island of Zakynthos, Greece, in the summer village Ammoudi that means sandy beach and it is named after the small beach in front of the site.

The plot has unlimited view to the sea to the east and is densely planted, especially at its boundaries, with trees and vines creating a private garden.

The design is focused on integrating the building into the surrounding landscape of low vegetation, vineyards and olive trees, whilst ensuring that all significant areas of the house open up to the sea view.

The house is composed of three low volume sections which integrate parts of the garden and follow the gentle natural slope of the site.

        住宅由三个低矮的空间构成，融合花园的一部分，并沿着项目地自然形成的缓坡延伸下去。

The main-central volume, which accommodates the living-communal areas, opens out through the large glazed screens to the sea and the stepped garden on the east and to the courtyard and the olive garden on the west. The internal spaces are visually extended with the construction of the pergolas. The transparency of the parallel glazed surfaces, which occupy the entire height of the space, strengthens the visual penetrability and eliminates the boundaries between the interior and the exterior. The visual extension of the interior spaces is repeated by the stepped volumes of the sleeping areas.

        生活区域的主要核心空间，通过一个大的玻璃屏障对向大海，并且可以眺望东边阶梯花园和西边的庭院以及橄榄树花园。室内空间向外延伸至后面的凉亭，相同材质的落地玻璃幕墙的通透性增强了视觉的透光感，弱化了室内外的界限。室内空间的视觉延续性通过休息区的阶梯式空间不断重复。

All internal living areas can be converted into a large outdoor covered space when the sliding glass panels are opened.

        当推拉玻璃们打开的时候，所有室内的生活区都可以转变成一个巨大的包覆整个空间的户外空间。

Indoor and outdoor, shaded or open spaces constitute three unities in relation to the functions of the house, to the expression of the degree of privacy and orientation.

        室内外遮蔽或开放的空间根据住宅功能的需求和隐私、方位等级的表现构成了三个统一体。

The colors and the fragrances of the garden, the sound of the sea and the changes of the natural light constitute integral part of the house features which contribute to the pleasure of living it.

        花园的颜色和芬芳、大海的声音、变化着的自然光线，都成为了房子整体中的一部分，让居住变得更加令人神往。
