In 2023 December, designer Pierre Yovanovitch will open doors to his inaugural

U.S. gallery space in New York City. Having officially launched his furniture brand, Pierre Yovanovitch Mobilier, in 2021, this expansion marks a significant inflection point for the designer, whose largest retail market for furniture is the U.S. and whose roster of interior architecture clients in America continues to flourish. Located in Chelsea, Manhattan, the space will serve as the first stateside brick and mortar location for visitors to experience Pierre Yovanovitch Mobilier. Located on the penthouse level of 555 W 25th Street, a prewar building nestled amongst Chelsea’s many art galleries, the new location features a rooftop terrace and open floor plan. The gallery will showcase Yovanovitch’s unparalleled commitment to quality

and craftsmanship through a wide array of his furniture and lighting pieces alongside a selection of contemporary artworks curated by the designer. Yovanovitch presents the pieces in a series of immersive vignettes allowing visitors to experience the work in a residential context.

The New York location will open on December 1, 2023. “Having worked on residential projects in the U.S. since the beginning of my practice in 2001 and with two successful furniture collection debuts (2017 and 2019) in New York, the opening of my first gallery space in America and new official New York headquarters, is a long-awaited realization for me,” states Yovanovitch. “It seems only fitting to open my first gallery location in the epicenter of New York’s art scene. Not only is contemporary art central to my design practice, the neighborhood’s architectural history serves as reflection to my approach of revitalizing historic spaces to fit a contemporary design aesthetic.” The New York space will feature 8,000 square feet of gallery and office space with over 80 pieces of his furniture and lighting works on display, including new and existing works. As with all of Pierre Yovanovitch’s work, the pieces incorporate the craft of speciality artisans from Europe.
